Keep in mind that the BW Boards are more heavily posted/read by the Indians (mostly) and Chinese (to a lesser extent - there's a Chinese language discussion board called ChaseDream.com or something like that which is very active, but it's all in Chinese).

In other words, the demographics of the BW Boards and the overall applicant pool (or actual b-school classroom) are quite different. So I wouldn't use the BW Boards as an indication of what the incoming class is like. If you were to use the posts on the BW boards as a proxy for applicant profiles, you'd think that the majority of applicants are Indian male engineers.

From my own business, I can tell you that even though my clientele is quite diverse (I get all kinds of people and in proportions similar to a b-school class), the majority of inquiries/clients I get as a result from the BW boards are primarily Indian males.
