  • whereas for adults each language occupies a distinct area of the brain and

  • each language occupies a distinct area of the brain when they are learned by an adult, while

  • each language in adults occupied a distinct area of the brain, while

  • each language occupying a distinct area of the brain for an adult learner, and

    D选项each language in adults 逻辑上好像有点问题

E选项 首先后面出现连词and 说明前半个分句应该是完整的句子~~可是each language occupying a distinct area of the brain for an adult learner 显然没有谓语动词

    conj.连词:

1.It being the fact that; inasmuch as.
    2.While at the same time.
    同时
    3.While on the contrary.

Whereas the peoples of the colonies have been grieved and burdened with taxes...
They want a house, whereas we would rather live in a flat.

A: whereas each language occupies a distinct area of the brain in an adult learner, language areas overlap in a young child.

D: each language in adults occupied a distinct area of the brain, while language areas overlap in a young child.

如果改成each language  occupied a distinct area of the brain in an adult learner, while language areas overlap in a young child.

language areas overlap in a young child.

    1. whereas each language occupies a distinct area of the brain in an adult learner,

    2. whereas for adults each language occupies a distinct area of the brain and

    3. each language occupies a distinct area of the brain when they are learned by an adult, while

    4. each language in adults occupied a distinct area of the brain, while

    5. each language occupying a distinct area of the brain for an adult learner, and

    B:sentence segments

    D:时态错,language in adults不好

    E:segments
