GMAT里面有讲到although不可以方在句子中间吗？

词典里面随便查一下，都可以找到although位于句子中间的例子的，C关键还是改变了语气

(E) even if remaining这个选项我有点弄不清，是因为如果用了remaining ,那么这句话的主语就变成了price 了吗？还有其他的原因吗？比如说不可以随意增加词remain?
