我就不信没人能解答，再贴一次：请教885 S19-7

哈哈  神贴啊   提点自己的小想法， A 和C的军团都很强大，这种难度的题目不是考简单的语法了，逻辑意思重要啊。  
对于A的大家认为错是 因为缺宾语，那么如果把understandable 去掉大家再看看：that produce and make it ， 是不是produce 和make 平行, it 做他们的共同宾语。                                                  
大家又纠结understandable 了吧，make sth adj 和make adj sth 都是对的， 那么这句话又可以改写成：that produce and make understanble it. 这样子是不是说明produce 不缺宾语呢。
我选了C， 看了大家讨论之后A！！

第一次做我选的C，但是现在倾向于A。

ETS出题定律就是逻辑＞语法。逻辑上只要任何有一定可能造成歧义，该项必错。C就很符合ETS对错误选项的理解。

假如这道题出现在以后版本的OG中，那么显然C项的吐槽点要多些。对于A项，ETS只要给出correct就可以让那个小瑕疵蒙混过关了（而且它完全可以同时表扬一下A项instead of是如何少见得用对了的）。

1. the nature of language
2. the processes that produce it and make it understandable
These two should be parallel.

This leaves us with a singular subject "Research", so we should use "has". Options B,D and E get eliminated.

Among A and C, I would go with A because C is using the awkward construction "has reveled not underlying simplicity but great complexity"
