一道机考真题，大家选什么？

看了半天，还是感觉D对，这个　that 就不能指　the amount of pollutant 吗?  再说彩色的地方正好与D　that emitted annually by all　对应.   至于all, 大侠是不是考虑得太多了。

觉得that不应该指代多个词，否则，它想指代谁就指代谁，那还怎么说的清呢？果真如此，岂不就基本没有指代错误了。

另外，all只是顺便考虑，此处不该作为第一类因素考虑的。不过，逻辑上用all确实不太平行（by vehicles ），也似乎有点逻辑错误（太强调all，感觉有点所有的车辆，不管马路上跑不跑，都有污染似的）。

还有，觉得b中的副词位置可以接受。

但B的话，as much as 后是否少个名词做比较对象？就算是省略的话，也应该the amount is 一起省略吧。况且原句划线前也是过去分词emitted, 并不是句子。

但是觉得楼上说的that的问题也有道理，那么这句话怎么说才合适呢？

amount emitted annually by all motor vehicles in the Chicago metropolitan area.红色字体部分在英文里应该是说不过去的（虽然在汉语里似乎还将就）。
再说，这与未划线的对应部分不平行了啊。只有pollutant可以emitted。

还是不太确定这个答案。

我认为两道题都应该选D。

第一道主要是逻辑搭配问题，还有两个分句必须有AND连接，so that 不可以作连词连接两个句子吧。

第二道更明显是D。“that emitted annually by all” 此中that 替代了the total amount of pollutant，这部分正好跟前面重复，用that 替代再简洁不过，结构上也跟前面对应部分对称。 E 恰恰破坏了by...这个部分的对称，所以肯定错。B的错不是annually位置的关系，而是后面比较对象的主语没有了。
