关于RA，我已经了解了教我课两位副教授，他们做的研究正好也是我很感兴趣的。 但我有一个疑问，是不是应该入校之后再发邮件询问？以及确定一个之后尽量不要再随便换老师，以保证自己的reputation？

1. It seems that your interests fall within the intersection of business & tax. Of course both accounting and finance study this, but you would need to be aware that they are significantly totally different two disciplines with different research questions. But no worries, let your letter writers help you to make final decisions.

2. Letters are everything you need for your Ph.D. applications. In terms of the accounting program, UIUC msf placed students in HBS accounting. In terms of finance, they also have excellent placements in the past years.

Thanks a lot for your reply and such valuable information!  I am going to read more papers to get to know what are researchers doing in this field. Past placements of this program looks so good! I’m really happy to hear that. Using the resources efficiently provided by UIUC and get strong letters are the biggest things for me, I know and I won’t leave any regret for myself.

谢谢你的回复。因为我已经打算春季入学，uiuc是可选的几个项目中我觉得比较适合我的。 数理知识确实很重要，也一直有课下自己看书。现在更想多了解下acct的研究，或许以后申请acct phd了吧。
