1. H的学说认为R和鸟类有相似性，现在很少有人挑战鸟类和R（一种恐龙）之间的关联
2. R中的某一种C和鸟类很像，C应该有羽毛
3. 但是发现有种C是没有羽毛的，解释原因
4. 解释一是羽毛被scale替代，因为不需要保温；或者在某些地方有羽毛；或者太年幼了羽毛还没长出来
5. 另一种解释是说鸟和恐龙是单独进化的——convergent evolution
