[求助]一道语法真题

我在A,C,E之间徘徊，所有选项都有they,them指代不明的瑕疵，所以代词问题可以不去考虑。D其实必错，gmat从来没有用which指代句子。这里A的问题在于used for,似乎正确答案不会这么用，如果是used to,一定是A了。C的问题在于前半句用不定式，而后半句用句子，也不太对。E在于that指代有歧义，可以指代plants,也可以是techniques,这里都是复数名词，没有办法区分，所以错，并且E的for一样不如used to,xdjm可以体会一下for 和used to的区别，其实改变了句义。所以，答案应该在A,C中，C问题把主动变被动了。我想问一下楼主，这题有没有可能选项有误？A会不会是used to,因为实在找不出对的。

So now A is left. "used to" is fine, but i cannot see any unacceptable point of "used for". And what is more important is that "for" indicates what is "making" and whta is "them". Just because "the same techniques used for genetically enhancing plants", we cannot say "plants making techniques disease- or pest-resistant". So the meaning is clear.  lease pay attetion to "used for genetically enhancing plants, making them disease- or pest-resistant". Just fine structure.

A有一个很大的问题，就是making有歧义，到底是researchers making,还是前面一整间事making?plant making说不通，可是前面一件事the same techniques也可以making,这就出现歧义了。并且楼上地说C的they指代不清，那么E的them指代清晰了？？并且这里还是用used to要好，毕竟表示被用于什么地方！

总之，我非nn,不能确定，觉得A也有理，C更好一点。
