看了以前大家讨论的答案是B,不过个人认为是E. 因为说ice cap is reflective 是不正确的，我觉得因该是ice cap reflect the fact that tempratures are so sold. 请大家指点

楼主把题目的意思理解错了吧。应该是“温度这么低，反射这么强，以至于在夏天都很少有冰融化

如果单看so。。。that。。。一定选B，但后面又说were it to do so，请nn给解释一下好吗？谢谢！

刚刚看了以前的讨论,答案就在B和C之间争.但讨论结果似乎倾向于B.但我觉得应该是C.

B的错误点主要在于"WERE IT TO DO SO", IT指 POLAR ICE,那么此虚拟语气表示和事实相反,"TO DO SO"是肯定形式,那么前面的事实应该是否定形式, 但B项中 little of the polar ice melts 是肯定式,显然不对;而C项little polar ice melts中的little 意为"几乎没有",可以看成是否定式,后面的虚拟为肯定,就对应起来了.

这个类似于反意疑问句.

如Few students go to school, do they? 而不能是don't they?

A few students go to school, don't they? 而不能是do they?
