本题难度相对较大。很多选项均不具备语法错误，考生们需要格外注意。

选项分析：

A选项：整体划线部分是原因状语从句，其主语为rising interest rates。请注意，它不是一个ing短语，而是核心词为rates的名词，rising是定语（如果想构成动名词短语，至少要用raising，这才是一个及物动词）。显然地，rates是复数名词，和其谓语动词makes单复数不一致。另外，不定式短语to buy them on credit需改为ing短语buying them on credit，这点考查了不定式和ing的区别。用之于本题，“以信贷方式购买”这一事件是make的宾语。整句的意思为：
上升的利率让以信贷方式购买东西变得更贵。
此时make对于“以信贷方式购买”的约束力其实较弱，这是因为，利率的上升并不能控制或约束“以信贷方式购买东西”这一事件的发生与否，而只是让这件事变得更贵，成本变得更高。因此，本题中make的宾语应用ing的形式。
