本题的答案是C，我选择了B，我不理解为什么broaden要跟hissing和rearing平行，而不是跟puts平行，我选择B是因为我觉得hissing 和 rearing中间已经用and连接了，代表此修饰到此结束，不然hissing和rearing中间应该是逗号，那么broaden就应该跟puts平行才对。

A和B都是错的，原因是A和B的最后没有and。你注意看划线部分之后是一个完整的谓语动词，eventually, ……, will fall over and play dead.所以你必须要保证这个谓语动词和前面的谓语动词之间是有连词连接的，因此只能选C D E，我刚开始的想法和你一样，但是当我看见and在CDE选项当中时，我立刻秒排了AB。
再来说句子意思，这个句子的结构是：The hognose snake puts on an impressive bluff, hissing and rearing back, broading …… and feigning ……, but it has ……, and, eventually, …… will fall over and play dead. hissing、broading和feigning都是对前一个句子的修饰，伴随修饰。在bluff的同时，做了这么这么这么三件事情。but和and分别连接另外两个主句。合情合理。
