答案是E，我疑惑C和D。research一般是及物动词，当不及物动词的时候接on。但是如果考场没反应过来，我还是会选D。除此之外，如果C选项忽略掉into的错误，为什么仍然不对呢（while in France我觉得没问题呀，一般就是修饰前面紧跟着的句子）。

这道题我在d 和 e 纠结了很久。 后来想通了，d 的问题是 the book of JB 意思应该是关于jb的书，那么后面he 就不清楚是指代的professor 还是jb 了。C 的问题是没有说 the book is written by whom， 也可能会是这个professor写的。
