不过有个疑问：twice是副词，double是形容词，用法一样，奇怪

twice 是副词，但是我认为第二个例子（spacecraft）中的double是动词。而那题doubling的作用和OG25 类似：

我也对这题有疑问，正想问了。按照og解释，我也认为后面的状语从句修饰20736　female ministers, 那double应该是动词啊。它的的时态是有问题。

退一步说，既然og４是拼写错误，那section 2-21中该选Ａ，doubling，为什么要选twice, 其后接了名词，怎么会有副词接名词的用法了？

关于数量描述的语法题，我感觉是重要考点，我的错误率也比较高，jxjitao所说的nn讲解在哪里？

上上楼：Twice as ...as是正确用法。美国传统词典有：

M is twice as large as N.
M 等于N的两倍。

另外发现twice 作adv,有这样用法：He has twice the strength he had.
他比从前加倍强壮了。还真是有趣？副词可以做谓语的吗？
