求教！！关于比较的问题

A recent review of pay scales indicates that CEO's now earn an average of 419 times more pay than blue-collar workers, compared to a ratio of 42 times in 1980.  （正确答案是C，我选了B，想问下大家B有什么问题啊。。看了半天没懂，希望有大神解释一下！感谢！）

B拿多少倍和一个ratio比，没有C对称

同意楼上的。A ratio=xx times the pay of blue-collar workers （A:B)。这样才能叫作ratio吧

而且我觉得 C选项里的as compared to 保留了1980年和现在的对比关系，
但是B里面a ratio that compares to...  个人认为that引导定语从句 是强调限定的，比如 The apple that I ate, 意思就是限制指我吃掉的那个苹果，暗含意思有，还有别的苹果是我没吃的。

选B就好像说，只有compares to 42 times in 1980的ratio才是前文提到的419times bla bla. 感觉表达怪怪的。

在另一个地方看到的分析说，因为ratio 不能自己compare只能被动，感觉这样解释也可以
