首先，楼主得知道 so that 和so…that…不是一个东东
第一点 语法排除：什么时候才能用so that，so that 修饰非be动词的时候才可以，这道题so that前没有实意动词，所以不能用。
第二点 语义排除： so that 引导目的状语从句，意为“以便;为了”。so…that…意为“如此……以至于……

that...在这里做定语修饰 troubles。可以叫做后置主语定语。

正确语序是这样的：
the computer company's present troubles that several attempts to revise corporate strategies have failed to correct are a result of technological stagnation, marketing missteps, and managerial blunders.

可是这样会导致整个句子头重脚轻，所以把that后置，是句子结构更加平衡。

但是我还是有一个小疑问，就是so that 有个意思是with the result that，比如 He checked so carefully, so that the mistakes were caught.
这个用法是必须用逗号隔开吗？虽然这样用的话可能意思就完全变了（我一开始就是这么理解的）

如果觉得so that不是太确定，可以从attempt to考虑，attempt at不是习惯用法，剩下A，D。A中it没有先行词，排除。
