recent 与recently (OG )

这道题目答案给的是选A，但是为什么不选B/C？ 我觉得是recently 来修饰extended吧，曼哈顿上面也是有一个使用副词来修饰adj 的

用时态可以排除BCD，因为reporting是在said之前，要用过去完成时。
关于recent的修饰，我觉得可能是把extended sales放在一起(类似于annual report，discount rate之类的，btw我有查到extended cost)，然后用recent来修饰它。
