弱弱问大神们一句，D选项里的comparing signatures and viewing the watermark 为什么不可以理解成修饰watch the endorsement呢？我的理解是watch the endorsement就包含了对比签名和检查水印了啊？？

首先，从做题的角度，verbing套verbing的结构本身就很值得怀疑，正常人一般不这么讲话，如果DE之间纠结的话，从应付考试的角度你应该本能的更喜欢E。

这道题呢，对美国人来说是common sense，但是中国人不用支票所以可能会觉得有些场外知识。支票上的endorsement你可以把它理解为一个简易的授权或者合约，即收支双方共同同意这个transaction的一个声明，银行看到这个声明才会给你clear the check。所以endorsement和signature以及watermark是三个不相关的东西，那么自然comparing signatures and viewing the watermark就不会是修饰watch the endorsement啦。
