这道题被讨论了很多次， 根据OG的解释   排除A 的原因是 disspating是不及物动词，不能直接接宾语，排除B的原因是   from having its acoustic energy dissipated   有问题。具体解释如下：

A Dissipating is not a transitive verb, so acoustic energy cannot function as its object.

B This version of the sentence is wordy, awkward, and indirect;/rom having . . . byerroneously suggests that the boundaries in the ocean are attempting to dissipate sound energy.

但我做题的时候是根据. prevented ...  如果就近修饰distances 不make sense；  如果修饰sound 离得太远，语义也不make sense:   sound prevented from....所以排除了AB ，这么想对吗?

有的时候排除选项的原因和OG排除选项的原因不一样，请问是要以OG的解释为主吗？ 希望有人能指点一下迷津~

可能做题的时候不能这样想哦，并不是我们自己觉得一个动词修饰谁它就修饰谁的
还是要以官方解释为主

楼主排出ab选项的方法是对的 而且A意思也不对 如果根据OG的解释应该是说A中的dissipating主语变成是sound了
