关于such that连用的问题

(C) that引导的名词性从句做主语，是的逻辑含义不合理，而主谓不一致：that…are now accounting for only half of it，也即that出现在句首ungrammatical；such that中的such指代对象是many people还是Utah不清；Mormons that were once 75 percent of the population，摩门教徒=人口数，逻辑含义错误；关系代词that不能指代人，要用who，同时不应该使用限定性修饰，且that were wordy；are now only accounting现在进行时没有必要；it指代的不是population，而是整个名词短语75 percent of the population，错误。
(D) such that使用错误同C；only位置错误同B；run-on sentence，句子有两个谓语动词：have been与account.
(E) Correct；once represented和now account对应，75 percent of the population与only half对应。

such that连用时的用法：
(1) A rule of correspondence between two sets such that there is a unique element in the second set assigned to each element in the first set. (such向前指代a rule of … sets )
函数两组元素一一对应的规则，第一组中的每个元素在第二组中只有唯一的对应量
(2) Her interest with him is such that she governs him absolutely. (such指代her interest)
她对他的影响非常大，以至于完全控制了他。
(3) The format of the meeting was such that everyone could ask a question. (such指代the format of the meeting) 会议安排好可让每个人都能提一个问题。
(4) choose x and y such that x + y = 10 (such向前指代x and y)

想问一下such that连用时的用法。。上面例句（1）和（4）应该是such that引导状语从句，表示结果，（2）（3）应该表达的是“如此...以至于”的意思，such应该是作adj.表示“这样的，如此的”，这里such that应该也可以引导状语从句表示结果？

但是上面那道题中的C选项对such that的解释是：such that中的such指代对象是many people还是Utah不清
也就是说such在C选项中其实相当于作后置定语吗？必须修饰一个名词？但prep08语法笔记里写so / such that 从句不用考虑逻辑主语。。。。（是否可以理解为such that用法等同于so that，其中的such与前面句子的主语无关？）那么为什么such又会指代不清呢？

还有D选项为什么是run-on sentence呢？如果such that是引导结果状语从句，该句应该只有一个谓语呀。。？还是说such that在这里不是引导结果状语从句？或是such that前有无逗号会影响其作用？

额。。。仔细看了一下帖子 有好多问题 一个一个来吧

1. such that的连用，我认为你理解的没有错，是可以作为状语的。如果是按照语法分类，分入结果状语，也是没有问题的。但有一点，我的理解与你不太一致：我认为，将你所列四个例句中such that理解为这样/如此。。。。使得/以至于。。。会更好一些。逻辑关系上，“因果”和“如此。。。以至于” 还是有一些差别
（当然，可能你表达的就是这个意思，只是我从字面上不能完全的理解）

所以，我认为四个例句正确的理解应该是这样的（）：

例句1，有一个这样一个对应规则，使得/以至于 两个集合。。。。
例句2，她对他有这样的影响，使得/以至于。。。
例句3，这个会议的组织形式是这样的，使得/以至于。。。
例句4，选择一个这样的X和Y，使得/以至于。。。。

2.关于such that中such 的指向问题
such的理解，我认为你的理解也是正确的，表达的应该就是“这样的”的意思，修饰的是所指向的名词（指向在这里用的不太严谨，但是不知道用什么来替代好，你明白我的意思就好哈）
然后再回头看一眼上面的四个例句，such都指向了前面开头的名词，表达的是这个名词如何，以至于。。。
而C选项呢，并不是一个名词如何，使得 mormons的人口占比降低，而是一件事情，是大量人口迁徙这件事情。所以呢，在这里用such，无论是指向many people还是Utah，我认为都是错误的。
至于说C选项是因为修饰不清，导致的错误，我不太认同。我倾向于认为 such that 是 sth is such a/an adj n. that的变体。
ps：楼主的这个题目解释的来源是？

3.关于so that 逻辑主语的问题
逻辑主语的问题，是一个语法问题。只有在出现了非谓语动词ed和ving的时候才需要去考虑，是非谓语动词所表示的动作发出者。而so that后面一般都是从句，不存在非谓语动词。所以我没太明白so that不考虑逻辑主语是什么意思。大概就是说that后面可以跟一个从句，而不用考虑主句主语跟这个that后面的关系？我只听过，ving在句尾表示结果的时候不用考虑逻辑主语的问题。

4.我也没看出来有run on的问题。所以，想要再次问一下楼主，解释来源是？
5. 其他
such that在GMAT中所有官方真题中，均没有作为正确答案。

in fact, i don't think you should pick a sentence with "such that" in one piece. if anyone can prove me wrong on this, please do.
the ONLY non-awkward, correct sentences i've seen with "such that" are sentences about math or physics (e.g., "choose x and y such that x + y = 10").

看到这个帖子，我大概知道楼主的题目解释来源是什么了，应该是参考了一部分Ron的解释，然后按照自己的理解增加了一些。
