be convinced of XX，语意落在了是”相信XX“，比如这个例子：They were convinced of his innocence.
重点落在“XX”这个事物上。上面的句子语意就是正确的。

而A选项“convinced of social work education belonging in the university ”这句中，belonging后面都是修饰social work education的，中心语是social work education，所以，”相信的“对象就落在“ social work education”。

然而，根据句意，“相信的”对象不是“social work education”这个东西，而是“social work education belonged in the university“这个事儿。
