问题大意是"出口的是什么东西"

A  Manufacturing equipment

B  Capital goods

C  Consumer goods

D  Raw materials   

答案是D!

可是我觉得原文是说"这是一个在货物出口前加工原材料的好地方",所以出口的不应该是原材料.

你们觉得呢??

我认为这里的prior to是比较process和export的先后，更何况在四个选项中，只有D出现在句子中，不过不知道前后文是怎么样的了。

我又发现了几个问题,希望能和大家讨论一下

是01年1月的.第14题和48,49题

是这样说的:"TO the best of their ability,colonial artisans tried to keep their shops as efficient as possible and to regularize their schedules and methods of production for the best return on their investment in time,tools,and materials."

问为什么要"regularize their schedules and methods "?

A to enable them to produce high quality products

B to enable them to duplicate an item many times

C to impress their customers

D to keep expenses low

答案是D 我认为原文for the best return on their investment,是说要收回成本,怎么才能收回成本呢?--TO the best of their ability.没有提到过如何保持低费用....你们觉得呢?我选B

48:a building having an especially ornate appearance would most probably have been designed in the style of ?

如果按答案选的"zigzag moderne",在原文中的语言提示是,"the exotically ornamental style of ...."

"the exotically ornamental style " 和  "especially ornate appearance "有什么必然联系吗?我之所以这么问,是因为在文章提到的其他三种中也出现了ornament,在我看来也挺特别的!~

49题我对问题不太明白,"which of the following design is known by more than one name?"-- is known by more than one name是什么意思?
