前段时间LZ刷SC700-800的题目代词的模块出现了很多possessive pronouns的修饰错误,特意恶补了一下
这里引用一下解析上面的原话解释 修饰性指代错误:
This sentence has a pronoun agreement error. Subject and object pronouns cannot refer back to possessive nouns; they must refer only to subject and object nouns. The subject in this sentence is "Agatha Christie's travels," not Agatha Christie herself. The first instance of "her" is correct because this pronoun is used as a possessive: "her [Agatha Christie's] archaeologist husband." However, the second instance of "her," an object pronoun, is incorrect: "inspired her [Agatha Christie, who is not an object in this sentence] to write..."
就是比如Agatha Christie's travels 这里这能用所有格的her来后面指代,不能用her作为宾语来指代AC这个人,因为这个人没有出现过,我觉得很有道理。
但是今天在曼哈顿模考上面碰到一道sc的正确的答案让我很意外,求各位帮忙解释一下。
Recent studies have shown that the antioxidants found in the acai berry boost immune cell function more effectively than almost any other fruit, making it one of the healthiest widely available fruits on the market.

| | Recent studies have shown that the antioxidants found in the acai berry boost immune cell function more effectively than those in almost any other fruit, which makes the acai berry one of the healthiest widely available fruits |
| | Because the acai berry’s antioxidants boost immune cell function more effectively than those in almost any other fruit, it is one of the healthiest fruits that is widely available |
| | Because the acai berry’s antioxidants boost immune cell function more effectively than the antioxidants found in almost any other fruit, they are one of the healthiest widely available fruits
官方答案解释解释如下(D) CORRECT. This answer correctly compares antioxidants to antioxidants (the pronoun those stands in for antioxidants, here), and it properly uses the singular pronoun it to refer to the singular noun the acai berry. While one of the healthiest fruits that is widely available is less concise than one of the healthiest widely available fruits, either construction is acceptable (avoid eliminating answers based on concision).
所以到底是题目的问题还是这个spilt的问题啊,我一脸蒙蔽,我觉得这里it不能来指代Acai berry啊 |
