Which指代问题求大神解答

今天在看Manhatthan 第六版SC。
对which指代问题有一些不理解

Example 1: The box of nails, which is nearly full, belongs to Jean.
这里which的用法是正确的，因为of nails 是prepositional phrase

Example 2:Crime has recently decreased in our neighborhood, which has led to a rise in property values.
这里which是错误的，因为不能指代一整个句子

我很迷茫为什么这两个(of nails 和 in our neighborhood)都是prepositional phrase 而且都是指代它们前面的object为什么一个which的用法是对的一个是错的。

槛外人

第一个句子里的which无法就近指代 因为后面的谓语动词是is 所以只能指代box 然后读起来语义也合理
第二个句子 which语法上就近指代neighborhood 但是语义上指代前面整句话 所以是错的

用which是因为这里是非限制性定于从句...which在gmat里只能引导非限制性定语从句
换句话说就是去掉 which is nearly full，上面句子还成立 The box of nails belongs to Jean.不好意思by the way.......，The box of nails的核心词是box，所以句子谓语动词是单数


Crime has recently decreased in our neighborhood, which has led to a rise in property values.
这种是最典型的指代错误..从逻辑上讲，which指代的是前面的一句话，而which本身只能指代名词
这句话在口语里是非常普遍的，没人会认为错误的，但书面语里是错误的

our neighbourhood 不能 led to a rise in property values
而是Crime下降 in our neighbourhood 這件事才能提升價值

而which僅能只帶名詞而非事件(包含動作含意)
