1. 划线句子的主语到底是什么，是42% of the graduate students还是42%这个数字？如果主语是the figure这样的话D中的it指the figure，D选项正确？
2. double the figure...中的double是用作动词吗，如果是动词的话不应该是doubling....或者which doubled the....
3. the figure for 1981这样的用法也对吗
4. 如果B改成twice as many as that(the figure) ub 1981是不是就对了


最主要的是搞不懂主语是谁...

我觉得没有主语吧，almost补充说明前面那个句子，划线句子补充说明almost这一句，我觉得4你那种改法是可以的。个人意见仅供参考
