I think an MBA would be quite good for your continuing in marketing, as marketing is affected by multiple facets of business, so you will want to get a strong, comprehensive major that an MBA provides. I do not recommend choosing an MBA in Canada simply for immigration purposes. AdComs will be able to tell if you aren't clear on your goals, etc. I don't know Canadian immigration policies, so I am unable to fully address the question in the context.
