我觉得关键在Ａ中 it is unlikely that its effect on their size is significant，第一个it是形式主语，代that从句，而第二个its是指代the coordination ,这就出现了指代不清的问题

我倒覺得這裡的its沒有指代不清耶...

排除(A),(B)選項的原因是因為結構不對,因為Adv-CL,後面在加That-CL是很奇怪的,直接加"S+V"比較對^_^
