天山中的一个不可以理解问题, 请教

这题似乎公认的答案是D, 但是who turned away from literary realism to write romantic stories about the peasant life有这种用法? 感觉from...to是个固定的搭配, 要求平行, 但是怎么to后面还有个write! 去掉write这选项是最好的, 可写成这样我觉得有问题.

另外D的时间状语位置我觉得有点怪, OG里面有个解释好像和它冲突:

92. Never before had taxpayers confronted so many

changes at once as they had in the Tax Reform Act of 1986.

(A)  so many changes at once as they had in

(B)  at once as many changes as

(C)  at once as many changes that there were with

(D)  as many changes at once as they confronted in

Choice D is the best answer, Choices B and C awkwardly place at once between confronted and its direct object, changes.

我自己理解的答案是E, 解决了上面两个问题, 至于the first sth to do这个结构我觉得不是强调重点, E的说法可以接受, 请指教.

整个句子和所有选项看下来，from ... to.. 应该不是平行结构，to write 是不定式短语

in 1909 放在那里，读起来有点不顺，但是应该没错。

语法点是as  .... as

E. them指代 changes 与原来的意思不符

还是不理解.

感谢楼上回复.from...to我见过的都是平行的, 基本上都是from sth to sth, D如果把write提前, 改成wrote from A to B, 我认为是可以接受的, 但写成现在这样, 名词和不定式连在一起, 我仍然很疑惑.

我上面帖子意思是天山那题我认为选E, OG的那题答案肯定是D, 但是OG在解释的时候对于时间状语的解释我认为和天山这题的D有冲突.

我觉得不是难以理解，而是打破思维定势比较难。

比如：You study hard for GMAT to score high in the real test.一个名词和不定式连在一起。

如果该成 wrote from A to B，那原句变成什么意思了？

E 不如 D 好，因为E里已经没有比较的意思了， 从而改变了原句的逻辑。OG毕竟是权威。

楼上例子里面明显to是个目的状语嘛...

平行和目的状语应该是两回事情, from...to的平行结构我觉得应该是要遵守的.

again, OG那题我没有怀疑答案, 我说的是天山的题目选E.

E把句子要表达的重心 ...become the first woman and also the first Swedish writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. 改成了一个分词短语, 修饰turned away还是wrote? 不能接受.

D. A novelist who turned away from literary realism to write romantic stories about the peasant life and  landscape of northern LACE>SwedenLACE>, Selma Lagerlöf became in 1909 the first woman and also the first Swedish writer to win

为什么.from...to一起出现就要是平行的? 如果看成2个独立的结构: 谓语...turned away from literary realism, 目的状语 to write romantic stories ... 有什么不妥?

2. 关于时间状语的位置: LSAT 里有一个这样的句子,时间状语用法与本题相识

Some ski-related injuries occurred in 1980 to people who were not skiing. ( TEST2, SECTIONII )

... Selma Lagerlöf became in 1909 the first woman and also the first Swedish writer to win.

OG明确指出不能把at once放在主谓之间, 但不知道象in 1909的时间状语是否也如此? (BTW, GMAT句子基本没有这样的例子.)

如果一定要有一个是答案, D 优于E.

为什么.from...to一起出现就要是平行的? 如果看成2个独立的结构: 谓语...turned away from literary realism, 目的状语 to write romantic stories ... 有什么不妥?
