求助IS 专业学校选择

现在手里有几个比较感兴趣的offer： Iowa state university, SUNY Buffalo, University of Oklahoma, Western university，University of Alberta。想请问一下大家对于这几所MIS选校有什么建议吗？谢谢大家啦!!

Iowa State has faculty members who are doing Econ or Big-Data type of IS research, which is now the mainstream. Arkansas, FIU are very behavioral (survey-based) research. Recently, students with behavioral research techniques cannot find a job in good schools, and this will be the long-term status of IS area.

The IS PhD program of ISU is relatively new since 2009. But they recruited couples of good faculty from top schools recently (e.g., Indiana, UTD, Minnesota). Most of them are more econ-based background. Although the program is relatively new, their placement is not bad (e.g., U of Cincinnati, CUNY Baruch, FIU). Also, one of their PhD students just hit MISQ with Dr. Jiang. Also, you may want to talk with Dr. Yuanfeng Cai, who is an Assistant Prof. at the dept. of IS and Statistics at Baruch. She got her degree from ISU. Just in case you got the offer both from ISU and Baruch.
