一道很老的题目，看了很多帖子的确都很有争议

翻语法汇总那帖的时候看到的：

应该有不少人在CD里见过这题吧？


答案是E，很多人都是在讨论less of 和 fewer of 的区别，而我的问题是E中的those按意思应该指的是vehicles吧，那么最后应该补出一个do才对啊。那如果those指的是pollutants，那么意思读起来又很奇怪了，而且pollutants又不会burning  gasoline or diesel fuel的咯。


我也看到很多人也问了我的这个问题，也没有人解答出来啊，有NN能解答一下吗？
