你对C的分析是对 省略了newspapers had circulation in a similar period a year earlier.

你说的当宾语补足语那点，宾语的平行是不优选的，因为没法平行。有歧义，有和主句平行的歧义。

2.主将从现
从句现在时，主句将来时，cde三个选项可以直接排了其实。would是虚拟语气，和前面不搭。
it指代这个事物它本身，that指代同类事物。
it这里显然是错的，因为不是它本身。

3.that肯定是不对的。。改成those 么。。我也不确定。
