Hey there!
Well usually when we talk about the “consulting” industry as an INDUSTRY and not a function, what we mean is “Strategy consulting” which is quite different than what you are doing. However, some of the tasks and skills and the way you work will be similar, so you can use that to your advantage, if you desire to transition into strategy consulting.
