There have been quite some discussions on OM in this forum. A PhD in OM from UTD has the potential to get one into an R1 institution.

Overall, Bocconi is probably as good as Tier 3 or Tier 4 schools in our Placement Ranking.

最后，再次希望大家尽最大努力争取到我们 Placement Ranking 中 Tier 1, Tier 2 或至少是 Tier 3 学校读PhD, 对于 Tier 4 及其排名再靠后的学校，无论做申请选校决定还是做录取决定的时候，都需要格外谨慎，不可委曲求全，因为这两个决定意义重大，会影响一个人的前途和命运！

求问lz，我注意到您把INSEAD排在了tier1，但似乎在fin领域，他的placement并没有那么特别出色（在同一tier里），请问具体在finance中大概是什么位置合适？

INSEAD'S Tier 1 stature is beyond dispute. I glanced over its placement record for the Fin concentration, and can safely assert that it is as good as a top 10 program in North America so far as this concentration is concerned.
