求大神指点，在职的我申请到phd的几率大不大

你要是再读个硕士到也不见得要读econ,math,stat，商学院的也可以，关键是你能不能找到RA做。

本身programming background 好 要找RA容易太多了..............人家正正是因為有了這類背景的訓練才找到RA 啊…樓主沒有這些基礎就…good luck 了。
反正cs 本科比金融本科對phd finance 申請更有用…

另......去個非top uni讀個MBA, 就是為了RA then PhD的話, 可行就不是不可行, 但是一來math/econ底不夠很難做solid research (e.g. risk is quite quantitative), 二來就是這個成本就未免太...........

After reading many profile evaluation threads Irealize most people have the same problem: Not knowing what a PhD is and thinkit is some sort of extension of undergrad studies. And therefore, having no clue as to how to prepare for it.E.g. believing FRM/CFA and other professional qualifications mayhelp...

PhD programs prepare students to do "research" in academia. This can easily be found doing simple research (googling), since most PhD programwebsite and also many "申请总结“ in this forum make this point clear. The fact that you've asked a question withoutdoing any research, probably shows you are not suitable for thisprofession. (Sorry being a little big harsh here)

LZ, my suggestion is you should do some research on“什么是PhD",then ask yourself "Do I really want to do a doctorate?"

If the answer is yes, given your background, Ithink a master in economics or financial economics with some RA experienceis what you need to gain admission to a PhD program.

问你学校要第一学期/第一年课表，有的放矢一下。OB跟strategy有个事(不知是否是我主要看欧洲的缘故)就是大家的课variation超级大，有些各种hard/empirical课程要求高，有些相对温柔，还挺看学校的。

well，你背景差得远然后这么些年都没搞清PhD需要做什么准备的前提下(hard skills很欠缺)，再这样family为上被家人一直保护(看不到在英语环境当中为自己advocate的实力和潜力)，身为一个十八岁就不听父母话，二十岁就出国混迹，遭受过无数白眼，打击，给家里报喜不报忧许多年，撒谎家常便饭，跟我校友和导师的心理距离比跟父母亲近许多倍的家伙，我看到这个回复真是蛮不知所措不明白要怎样回答才好的。。。

外面没人会在乎你重点初高中，因为大家顶多看一眼本国的重点高中什么的，国内那几个出国名校有些地方也会瞧一眼，或者IB，AP之类，而且那个都是大学本科录取。你多半不知道我说的IB，AP是啥，等我给你回复个链接来。。

确实不知道，于是我百度了一下，哈哈，挺厉害的
人到了这个年纪，谁有经历了成长，你的成长是出国这几年的辛苦付出，我也不是没经历过成长，毕竟在这个社会生存没人容易
我只是不想再这样下去了，我想为自己想做的活，而不是活在别人的安排下面，只是这个意思
