我查了朗文字典， 似乎Suffer from 这种用法也是可以的啊？求指点， 谢谢。

suffer from 是个固定搭配，当然可以用呢。

A项的问题不是出在这儿，而是suffer后的核心词不对，即dwindling food supplies，简化为food supplies。

在逻辑上，海床生物遭受的，应该是“食物供给变坏”这件事，而不是“食物供给”，即，suffer身后的核心词应该为dwindle这件事，而不是单纯的food supplies。
