这题选e，我有一点不是很能理解。为什么"Laos has a land area comparable to that of..."这里comparable to直接加载area的后面，我不是很能理解。在我的认识里，应该是“Laos has a land area which is comparable to that of..."才对。想请教一下这种用法叫做什么。

LZ的思路没错，只是这里省略了which is。

所有的现在分词或过去分词，跟在一个名词后，修饰该名词的时候（充当形容词的作用），其实都是省略了which is 的定语从句。

从句中是系表结构，即“系动词be+表语”这种情况，which is 都能省略，不管是主语还是宾语。

但是如果which is 后面不是形容词，就不能省。举个例子：Ada is reading a book which is her birthday present.

万分感谢，所以也可以说是which用作修饰的时候，后面接 be + adj的话，which就可以省略掉了吗？
