有错吧。原题的本意是LJ在一个情况下（after her emigration to NY）比她在另外一个情况下（in her native Germany）没有那么成功，所以比较的是两个situation。ABD三个选项把第一个情况（after her emigration to NY）直接和国家比较，肯定是不对。

ABD选项的错误点不是比较对象有错误，而是compare to/with 不可以和其他比较词一起用，比如 more, less, greater, prefer, better, worse, X times as much
E 是RUN-ON sentence， 划线部分和逗号后面都是两个完整句

哦哦，那么如果把ABD里的compare to/as compare to/ when compare to 改成than，这里的比较是对的么？如果E只看前半句话，不考虑后面的，那这里的比较是对的么？
