Australian National University (ANU) Finance PhD Program Invites Application 2016 (Commencement from Semester 1 2017).

The ANU Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics strives for excellence in its research endeavour. The recent research has been published in top leading journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Asset Pricing Studies, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Econometrics, and Journal of Monetary Economics.

During the PhD study, you will receive:

  1. Tuition Waiver Scholarship of $A45,000 to cover tuition fee.
  2. PhD Stipend of $A25,000 (tax free) each year to cover living expenses.
  3. Research Fund of $A5,000 to cover data collection and travel expenses to conference.
  4. Possible TA/RA positions that subsidize students on the top of stipend.

No need. You can find your supervisor after you are enrolled.

But the first required part in the online application form is the name of supervisor...

It is a auto-generated part by system. Just check the website (https://www.rsfas.anu.edu.au), find one name that you may be interested, and put it in. It does not matter too much...
