关于with用法的几个问题

首先第一个问题： with 是否有同时的意思

解说上写的是：The introductory word “with” nonsensically suggests the simultaneity of the two pieces of data.（ 就是说with使这两件事看上去同时发生了）

#但是在prep08第175题里
D选项 With the cost of wireless service plummeting in the last year and mobile phones becoming increasingly common, many people are now using their mobile phones to make calls.....
这个选项是正确的， 但是为什么这里面没有表示同时的意思了？

另外：with真的能表现因果关系吗

解说上写的是：The preposition with does not capture the causal relationship expressed by the sentence. （with不能表达因果关系）但是我记得prep08的语法笔记中是说过with有因为的意思
那在这道题里为什么不对，是因为其他选项中有because, 然后because比with更好吗？

最后一个问题：with能指代离它最近的名词吗

这里的having hundreds of miniature 指的是intricate structure

所以当是noun, with xxx结构时， with 是要修饰离它最近的名词吗？

我個人認為沒有先後，因為一定還有其他判題點

不一定

至於with能否表達同時？
我補習班上課的地方沒有教到with表同時，翻講義也找不到

為了避免說錯，
