请问mba in business analytics怎么样？

理工背景有工作经验，打算通过mba转行留美工作。对数据分析比较感兴趣。目前在自学这一块。无商业背景不打算去金融圈或者咨询。请问有小伙伴了解这个方向吗？好像申请master比较多。可是因为已经有研究生学历而且工作过，是不是读mba比较适合呢？这个方向的mba美国找工作难度大吗？谢谢啦！

是个好留美的方向，需求比较大。
可以考虑那种可以提供STEM的项目，比如SMU，BU的IS双学位，等等，可以有更长的OPT

谢谢你的建议！我看到一些这个方向的mba会提供相关方向的master双学位。不知道课程难度和申请门槛大不大？希望能通过自学稍微弥补下背景的不足。

Great to hear from you!!
Well, if your REAL focus is data analysis, then an MBA is probably not the right degree for you. Instead you should be pursuing a more technical degree in math or computer science or data that will allow you to get where you want to go.

An MBA is more for management, and I’m not sure if you are interested in that,

Thank you for the advice! I am interested in a technical degree but not sure if it is more suitable for me to have a MBA/MS dual deagree since I have some advanced degree in other major and the working experience. I am hoping to get both technical knowledge and management skills for future career development.

Hey thee,
Well the choice is up to you. But rather than “Getting as many degrees as possible for future development”, why not try and decide your goals beforehand? That way you can KNOW if you need a double degree or not.
