再重做一次的时候，ABD选项都能很快排除，但是纠结于C和E

在我做笔记的时候，我觉得E项不对是因为它前面刚说完了sea，后面来一个the largest lake，有句子残缺的嫌疑。但OG老爷爷说如果despite being called用在这里就会变成”lead one to expect it not to be the Caspian”


我不是太明白这个E的解释，求各位大神指教

最简单的理解方式是看“despite being called a sea”是在修饰什么。“largest lake on Earth” 还是“the landlocked Caspian”。这里是“largest lake on Earth” ，但作者想说的可定是“the landlocked Caspian”。

换个位置但修饰的词不变
E变成：the largest lake on Earth, despite being called a sea, is actually the landlocked Caspian.
D变成：the landlocked Caspian, though called a sea, is actually the largest lake on Earth.

如果调换一下顺序，那的确是D对，因为作者这句话的意思是想说landlocked Caspian.
