各位大神求问下在JHU 金工 Umich 金数 and Fordham 的金工 该选哪个？理由是什么~

谢谢，之前我也被他家的“msgf属于STEM项目”的事忽悠过。
同时还想再请教一个问题，若是以回国就业为长期目标的话，（就是短期内想留在国外）
美国末档次的金工项目，比如RPI的QFRA这种，还有荷兰的UvA的stochastic & Fin Math项目，您更倾向于哪个？学渣，让见笑了
（不排斥继续PhD，30W Rmb的总费用差额 mean a lot to me。）

個人認為，UvA 的stochastic and financial mathematics是歐洲一流末的課程(當然及不上ox/ic/x/eth), 但是best in netherlands). 和其他top european msc fina math 一樣，有一點偏數學(good or bad, 我認為好，因為太practical 的留給實習)

不用說的是，在工作簽證環境，綜合排名(QS) 都很一面倒吧…

Therefore I will definitly consider it over any non top mfe in US, not to mention RPI or fordham…
It sounds to be similar level as boston u msmf to me…(in terms of getting a related role there), even though BU has a more practical program......

P.S. which one is more expensive.....? UvA SFM is a 2 year program.......

I will say the best side of Fordham MSQF is not their quality (every good MFE are in good quality)
but they will really fix problem.

由一開始會教accounting但不教C++的垃圾級別, 聽著市場的需求, 和(被坑)學生的feedback, (2008)
逐步逐步改進到現在像一個good/top MFE一般會要學生寫programming, 找market practitioners來講課......
I will say they had tried, and successed to fix 99% problem of a MFE faced, except the school name.
This is a very strong indicator that they really want to have a good program and placement for their MSQF.

對於一堆本身背景不夠硬, 不夠數理的(finance本科)學生來說, Fordham MSQF is the best choice - 因為top 10的MFE是基本不會要他們的 (more than 90% of top MFE student are from science/engineering)
