Not exactly... Frankly speaking, government organizations prefer graduates from Tsinghua and Peking, particularly those from Wudaokou. If you have an overseas background, I think LSE and Cambridge won't make a big difference. They both can help you get the interview but afterwards the result really depends on yourself.
If you aim to work in China's government organizations, I think networking is very important and probably studying at home can help you build the necessary network even better. Personally speaking, I hope you don't mind, I hates government organization, too much bureaucratic and red tape. So I think you should be definitely clear about your career path before you decide which university to go to. |
