这题的答案是B。你的A是哪里的答案？不管你是哪里找到的练习题，如果这题给答案A，那个网站可以不用去了，如果是书可以立即丢掉了。答案都是错的，练习还有什么意义？

E是第一个被排除的选项：
that figure growing to nearly six hours a week in 1997这是独立主格形式啊！独立主格是做状语的啊。明显E的内容既不能表示伴随也不能表示结果或者原因。

A是一定错误的，因为they指代同名同物，既包括核心名词也包括修饰词。1981年的childrenin the USA到1997年都二十几岁了。。。。

补语只有两种：
1.主语补足语，这个明显不是
2. 宾语补足语，这句话的宾语是less than two and a half hours a week，核心逻辑意思是“一段时间”。that figure growing to nearly six hours a week in 1997. 我spend的是“一段时间”还是“a figure”？如果E用的是a duration之类的也许还可以考虑，用a figure必错。
