Princeton的SC中出现了很多的就近修饰与跳跃修饰的问题，感觉比较迷惑。例如上题，如何进行修饰判断？是否可以讨论一下？

这一题，考的是能用分词短语的，不用从句。

JOY，我觉得不能这样理解题目，主要让我迷惑的是在PRINCETON中，经常出现修饰的核心词问题，但是似乎无论是从句还是分词，都存在修饰对象的就近修饰和跳跃修饰问题。象上面那道题，D和E都可以理解为就近修饰，所以出现选择困难。

我也觉得这题DE讨厌,我的问题出在1.5分钟后还在想答案,越写就会越慌.

D: that were stipulated by laws propoesd previously.
that were 不简洁.
by laws (which was) proposed previously. → by previously proposed laws.

E: restrictions on [(the tourist and foishing industries) stipulated by previously proposed laws]

128. New hardy varieties of rice show promise of producing high yields without the costly （requirement of irrigation and application of commercial fertilizer by earlier high-yielding varieties.）
the key is:
E irrigation and application of commercial fertilizer that were required by earlier high-yielding varieties.

i think the answer of your question should be D.

使用that从句修饰体现了具体的时态，而且避免了stipulated by previously proposed laws就近修饰the tourist and foishing industries而产生歧义。

这是很久以前的帖子了，谢谢。当时我选了D，但是答案是E，所以觉得很困惑。我们的想法一致，D更合理。感觉现在实战中很多题就是这样。

some feeling besides your guys discussed above. It seems E is better when we comapre

OG: New hardy (varieties) ...... by earlier high-yielding (varieties)
Princeton: A recent proposed (law) ..... by previously proposed (laws).

In D: "by law proposed previously" is awkward.

In E, 'stipulated by' seems like to modify either 'industries' or 'restrictions' . But D is better than E in this point.

I think that compared with the other point you mentioned above, this should be considered in advance.
