The united states,a nation with a highly diversified economy ,is a major exporter of grain, fruit ,chemical,aircraft,and cars.

the answer is "c",but chemical also has a meaning of "化学药品,化学制品",what's wrong with it then ??

BTW , the use of "the smallest and versatile instrument " is wrong just because " versitile " does not match "smallest",dosen't it??

大家好，本来准备来贴2002－08－39题，看了大家的讨论后豁然开朗：）

原来“chemical”是高频考点哦！！

在做2002－10－32的时候，以为“chemical”是形容词，就选它了，歪打正着：）

如，freethinker所解，归根到底是复数的错误点。

同时，也终于知道了2002－08－39选C是错误。

versertile前应该加most，and并列，都应该是最高级
