The Katydid, a type of grasshopper, is actively at night and rests motionless amid foliage during the day.

此题的答案是B。但motionless作为形容词能修饰动词rests吗？

rests motionless ，保持静止。“motionless作为形容词修饰动词rests”这样表达不对吧？

保持安静的另一说法 keep silent 也是 v.+ a.

stand still 也是v. + adj. 但不知这是什么语言现象？
