If I were given the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks, the county I would like to visit would be Egypt. Egypt has long been a mysterious country since ancient time. The history and culture remain a significant vestiges, making this archaic site attractive for me, perhaps for the world to visit.
First, the Pyramid, which is among the seven wonders of the world, has been involved greatly in the culture region of Egypt. Its uniqueness in structure and the functional design are most admirable. Without any words reliable written about the Pyramid, historians, architects and geometricians have put efforts to trace down the history about how such construction formed with limited techniques at the early age. After all, they found it definitely a miracle. It is also a main reason why I cast my eyes on Egypt and hope to visit it.
In addition, the books I read about the myths and the peculiar religion increased my desire to uncover the veil of Egypt. The mummy, for example, was a creation of ancient Egyptian religion system. They believed the soul is immortal and will return to earth again, so they must keep the body in a good condition. Many of the mummies have been kept till today and are displayed in museums. Therefore, I would like to explore its origin as well as what has impressed me from the books.
The last but not the least, the location of Egypt is another trigger that intrigues my lust for a visit. Although it is located in the area that covers deserts, Egypt is fortunate to have The Nile, which is the source of irrigation and a benefit to the agriculture. I am passionate to experience in the site that is geographically different from my country, and admire how they adapted to the environment and developed their own ways to survive.
In conclusion, Egypt has abundant historical assets and its history helped form a exclusive culture. Moreover, the geographic characteristics make Egypt so distinct. For the features above, I would like to say Egypt is worth a visit.
