I have 8+ years work experience, including 6.5 years for a now F500 US based software company. I have worked for this company in Beijing for 1.5 years and in US for 5 years. My job position has changed from localization to software quality assurance to software development, but they are all engineer positions.
My first question is how do you think about this work experience in regards to applying for a top B school? Somewhere I read that top B schools like people with strong leadership skills. Will my experience look like I can't improve my career with my current employer?
Secondly, any suggestions on what kind of career concentration or career goal might be good for me after the B school? I know I should find out this myself and I am researching, but any comments will be greatly appreciated. |
