请问这里E为什么不对呢？OG说不it consists of almost all跟前面的cooperative和organized不平行，但是这里是“comma+and”明显是引起一个新的从句吧，it也就是指代society，主谓都有了，and开始的这个句子不属于前面平行的一部分啊，为何一定要算作平行呢？另外我觉得，yellow jackets number....,living in a society...也说得通的感觉。
求解！

因为这是原句中所体现出来的意思，A选项明确告诉你了living应该修饰谁
所以做SC的时候首要的不是找茬，而是领悟句子的意思。

而这个句子的意思一定得从原句，即A选项中推敲出来，哪怕这个句子支离破碎漏洞百出。

你去网上或者CD上搜都很容易搜得到的，不过建议你完全掌握了基本的语法内容再来关注语义问题

wasps引导的同位语是修饰social wasps的，描述的是social wasps。如果用living的话，描述的就变成了yellow jackets。

还有，请顺着GMAT的思路去思考。既然GMAT说了要平行你就得思考为什么他认为是平行，不要一厢情愿的想其它可能性。学习正确选项之所以正确的地方，反省错误选项之所以错误的地方。GMAC/ETS是规则的制定者，我们既然要在这规则下取得高分就不能质疑和违背这些规则。

但是在我看到解析之前，我并不知道这个要求是三个items都要平行的，也是看了OG的解释才知道要都平行呀，并不是想挑战权威，就是很疑惑，因为我已经认为前面个形容词是平行，第三个and开始无非是另一个从句。

要如何判断Living是修饰wasps不是yellow jackets呢，我也是这里有疑惑！！说得通啊，yellow jackets是social wasps的一种，然后他们生活在一个什么什么的社会里，没有错啊。当然E选项的an it是不对的，不能选E，这就排除了。但是我还是很不清楚这题的思路啊

没错是说得通，living可以修饰yellow jackets，但是现在既然包含这个意思的唯一选项E因为其他错误已经被排除了，那么就不要再想为什么living要去修饰social wasps了，因为出题人想这么修饰。你现在纠结的东西就属于没意义的了，永远不要质疑答案。
