真正牛校的essay都是靠自己写出来的

不是吧！我所知道这种情况一般是因为这个人非常牛，但是工作实在太忙，所以交给agency去做；或者就是读一个MBA就行的人。

就符合一个，忙！，但是其他两个条件都不符合，看样子只有自己写了。

一口气写出来的一般是自己最外层的想法，但很多时候和实际想法有出入，其实写Essay时反复修改的过程本身也是一个升华阶段，想清楚自己想要什么挺不容易的，哈哈。

一般要多少钱?如果你能申请TOP10,工作一定很好,这点钱大概连半个月工资都不到.应该不是问题吧.

i know such a service company in bj. it was once active but recently when i want to check it out, i cannot find their website any more. but i remember they charged 70k RMB for portfolio service. i don't personally know peers who earn double this amount per month...

actually, i am also considering whether to use such a service. just want to make 100% sure i bring out the best part of myself. but a friend discouraged me to do so. He was accepted by harvard. He told me during his application he did recruit such a consultant in the first place, but right before submitting his application, he found the consultant's job unsatisfactory. then he himself rewrote and wrapped up his package. he told me if he sent in the initial package, his chance would have been killed. the consultant he recruited was claimed the prime admissions consultant in nyc. i don't know. but i kinda hesitated after hearing his words...

there are tons of MBA admission consultants online. the key is:

first, you must have good background

second. you know what on earth you plan to do after MBA

consultants can not do that for you. 2 people with same education background, same gpa, same gmat, even worked in the same department of same company may have different goals, unique experience.

i dont think those consultants can do that for you.

the only thing is: they can modify your essay, check your grammar that's it

so i think, you should consider your career goal carefully and then write your essay by yourself first.

if you are not confident in your english, you may use that kind of service. but, please remember: you MUST have your OWN idea.

some consultants may make a fake goal for you and which may bring you to some good schools, but without you personal idea, you may get lost even you finally obtain a top 10 MBA degree.

essay writing is not an exam, nor is a task, it is a good process for you to know yourself.

kind of ridiculous, huh, but how many people do know what he is? what he wants to do? give yourself a break, and evaluate yourself first.

Don't assume that you can learn exactly what to do on finance, marketing, management etc etc.

2 year study is really not enough, MBA is just a key for you to open a door to your desired field.

but you must know by yourself what key you need for the door which is  is the best for you.

自信、表达能力强是一个合格的MBA的基本素质，如果申请essay都要找agency代劳，入学以后又如何去面对各种笔试和口试？如何游刃有余地与别人去交流？这个问题各位前辈已经阐述过好多次了

可以去Business Week Online上的Forum看看,一般收费都在1000到2000美金一个学校.雇这类Consultant不是靠他们替你写文章,而是提供一些方向上的把握.
